Bring Workers Home will explore a core set of issues, including:

• Learning how to create and sustain workforce housing programs in your community.
• Understanding the importance of advancing workforce housing through local and regional partnerships.
• Exploring workforce housing issues from the perspective of employers.
• Hearing from other practitioners and advocates managing successful workforce housing strategies.

This Bring Workers Home forum is designed to attract a wide range of attendees, including employers and HR professionals, REALTORS®, urban and regional planners, housing and community development leaders, local elected and appointed officials, state HFA representatives and others.

Special Training Opportunity

Following the regional forum, NAR will offer their Employer-Assisted Housing Class on Friday, December 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This class is designed to help REALTORS® and other stakeholders work with employers so that their employees can purchase a home through the assistance of a REALTOR®, non-profit organization and/or other lender.

Space is limited, so register early to reserve your spot. Save when you register for the regional forum and class together.

Hotel Accommodations

NHC has reserved a small block of discounted sleeping rooms at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower. Reservations can be made online by clicking here or by calling (800) 445-8667 reservations. Use group/convention code "NAR" to receive the discounted rate of $120/night plus applicable taxes. Make your reservations by Monday, November 7 to take advantage of the discounted rate.

 Registration Instructions

·         Registration for this forum includes access to the educational program and associated materials, continental breakfast, lunch and the networking reception.

·         If you are registering more than one person, you must provide contact information for each individual.

·         Payment by credit card is preferred. If you choose to pay by check, please note that your registration is not complete until payment is received by the National Housing Conference.

·         Please note that some government issued credit cards will not work with this registration system. Please register using the "Pay by Check" option.

·         Online registration will remain open until Friday, November 18, 2011.
